Rhapsody Music Downloads Part II – A pleasant experience?

Welcome back to Part II of Rhapsody Music Downloads! I hope you took an opportunity to enjoy the first week of your two-week trial. Must have been a joy to stream and download online music by the truckloads. Now…you did take the liberty to utilize the free trial, didn’t you??

In my last article, I summarized the history surrounding the service which allows you to download and/or stream tens of 1000’s of songs quickly with superior quality (at 160Kbps WMA, you can’t go wrong…). Also covered were some of the elegant features in the new Rhapsody 3 version.

Reasons to Ditch Your Guitar Pick

Lately, I haven’t been using my guitar pick all that much. I got this tab book of some good ol’ Gatemouth Brown finger picking blues. I’ve been enjoying myself so much trying to get this fingerpick thang goin’.”

I’m starting to understand the arpeggio-phrasing technique a lot more. Gatemouth Brown is a legend and a true musician. He plays acoustic / electric guitar in all genres. He can also play the fiddle like nobody’s business. He is also a drummer, harp player, and banjo playing fool.

Win-Win Power Negotiating

Let’s talk about win-win negotiating. Instead of trying to dominate the other person and trick him into doing things he wouldn’t normally do, I believe that you should work with the other person to work out your problems and develop a solution with which both of you can win.

Your reaction to that may be, "Roger, you obviously don’t know much about my industry. I live in a dog-eat-dog world. The people with whom I negotiate don’t take any prisoners. They eat their young. There’s no such thing as win-win in my industry. When I’m selling I’m obviously trying to get the highest price I possibly can, and the buyer is obviously trying to get the lowest possible price. When I’m buying the reverse is true. How on Earth can we both win?"
